Our team shares their favourite roses

There are so many colourful roses and it can be difficult to choose. To help you, some of our team have chosen their favourites for adding drama to your garden.

Hannah has chosen Absolutely Fabulous.

“This rose flowers all summer and until the first frosts. The blooms start off a strong yellow, and later on turn paler with a pink tinge. Brilliant performer, and looks fantastic next to purple flowers such as my dwarf lilac.”

Zoe has chosen Grace Rose

“I love this rose as my Nan was also called Grace and it reminds me of her. It’s planted in my parents garden and last year I visited them and it was in full bloom, it looked absolutely stunning.”

Merete has chosen James L Austin

“I love the formation of the petals, it’s my favourite colour, pink too. My husband bought it for me as a Valentine’s gift last year, and it flowers at least twice a year. A truly beautiful rose that doesn’t fail to make you smile!”

Brenda has chosen Anniversary Rose

“This rose is my favourite because my daughter bought it for me. It has these lovely, orange petals that are really delicate.”

Lisa has chosen Lady Gardener

“This rose was given to me as a gift from friends. It looks really pretty in my garden with it’s lovely apricot colour amongst my other plants.”

Cheryl has chosen Chandos Beauty

“They have long stems perfect for indoor displays so you can enjoy their beautiful scent. The colour is stunning and they flower from around May until the first frost.”

Cerys has chosen Arthur Bell

“This rose smells lovely and is one of the first to flower. Plus, being yellow it makes me feel really cheery! My husband trained the one on the right over a gate at his Mum’s house and it is soo amazing when in flower.”

Please note we may not stock the above roses, however we do have a wide range available in our Plant Area.
