Executive Assistant to Directors (Part-time) - Tiptree

Perrywood is a family business run by siblings Hannah, Simon, Tristan and their Dad, Alan. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years, with the acquisition of a new garden centre in 2024 and the opening of a brand-new garden centre in 2025. They are now running a £21m+ business with three garden centres and more than 350 team members. The demands on their time have grown, and they are now seeking assistance in organising themselves and completing tasks.

Junior Buyer (Full-time) - Tiptree

The role focuses on supporting the Senior Buyer with seasonal buying - particularly Christmas and garden furniture - alongside managing purchase orders, stock data, and sales reports using the WinRetail system. It involves close collaboration with suppliers, shopfloor teams, and the visual merchandising team, as well as strong administrative and data-handling responsibilities.

Perrywood Tiptree is a family-owned garden centre and nursery run by the Bourne family. Alan Bourne is the MD and Plant Buyer. Karin Bourne has retired from day to day business operations. Their three children – Hannah Powell (Communications & HR Director), Simon Bourne (Retail Director) and Tristan Bourne (Operations Director), make up the rest of the board.

Perrywood Tiptree is 5 minutes from the A12 and easily accessible by car from much of Essex including Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, Mersea Island, Coggeshall and further afield. There is also a bus service which stops at our entrance but it is not a regular service.

Perrywood Sudbury is our second centre which we took over in September 2018 with a new centre built in October 2025.

Perrywood Buckhatch is our third centre which we took over in September 2024.
