Do I have to book a table?
Yes, advance booking is required for this dining experience. Last bookings are 30 minutes before the finishing time.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, our chefs are happy to cater for dietary requirements. Please let us know if you have any allergens, so we can accommodate them where possible. Please note we cannot guarantee that our dishes do not contain traces because our food is all prepared in the same kitchen on site. Our menu clearly highlights gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options. You can also add any dietary requirements to your booking.
Will there be loud music or flashing lights?
There will be quiet background music throughout the experience, but there will be no flashing lights.
Is the mystery suitable for children?
Yes, absolutely! We think the mystery is suitable for children and is a fun activity for the whole family to enjoy together.
Where will the experience take place?
The experience will take place in the Conservatory at Perrywood Tiptree, straight through the Coffee Shop & Restaurant. A member of our team will greet you on arrival and check your booking.
Can I order from the normal menu?
Our murder mystery dining experience has a set menu, so unfortunately our usual menus will not be available.
Can I come in fancy dress?
Absolutely! Dressing up in 1930s-inspired outfits is very welcome but completely optional. There is no dress code.
Will there be photo opportunities?
Yes! We’ll have props and a backdrop available for you to capture some festive photos and memories from the day.
How do I order my food?
Your food order will be taken at your table by a member of our team and served directly to you, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the experience.
Can I choose my table when booking?
Unfortunately, table selection is not available when booking. If you have a preference, please add a note to your booking and our team will do their best to accommodate your request.
How long will I have my table for?
Your table time will depend on your booking, but you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy your meal and take part in the murder mystery.
