2025 RHS Chelsea Flower Show Trends

2025 RHS Chelsea Flower Show Trends

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 (20–24 May) dazzled once again, spotlighting cutting-edge trends that champion sustainability, climate resilience, and bold, innovative design.

A few lucky members of our team had the chance to experience the magic firsthand. Here are some of the standout trends they discovered:

Perfect Pines
Resilient planting was a big theme at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and one plant kept making a strong appearance – the Pine.

Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, Pines are a versatile addition to any garden. Once established, they’re wonderfully drought-tolerant too – ideal for changing climates.

Small Spaces, Big Impact
You don’t need a huge garden to create something beautiful. With a few well-chosen pots and a bit of imagination, even the smallest space can be transformed into a lush, living tapestry.

These photos from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show celebrate just a few of the many plants you can grow in containers: including vibrant colour, contrasting textures, seasonal interest, and pure personality.

These container combinations prove that great things really do come in small packages.

Impactful Perennials

Looking to make an impact in your garden? Now’s the perfect time to plant bold, beautiful statement flowering perennials* that bring drama and colour to your borders.

Whether you love tall spires, vibrant petals, or something a little bit unusual we’ve got you covered. Here is some inspiration from RHS Chelsea Flower Show and our own garden centres.

Which are your favourites?

*Perennials are plants that die down each Winter and come back in the Spring.

Irresistible Irises
A classic cottage garden favourite, Irises stole the spotlight at RHS Chelsea Flower show once again – and East Anglia has a proud place in their history.

Renowned artist and plantsman Sir Cedric Morris bred over 90 stunning iris varieties at his Suffolk garden, Benton End, many of which are still cherished by gardeners today. These heritage varieties are known not just for their beauty, but for their resilience and natural charm.

Each one is as pretty as a picture!

RHS Chelsea 2025 leaves us with a vision of gardens that are lush, sustainable, and deeply personal. From Catherine’s Rose to recycled planters, this show has redefined what a garden can be.
